Strength

Strength

A Poem by E.V. Black
"

From ultimate weakness.

"

Muscle and sinew

aches as it tears.

Wearing down,

breaking.

Only to repair and

to become strong.

Invincible.

Again and again,

the process is repeated.

As time passes,

strength only builds.

From ultimate weakness.

Author's Note

E.V. Black
I was exercising one day (lifting weights, to be precise) and I started thinking about this. Afterwards, I came up with this poem. When the body's muscle becomes stronger, it has to first tear and then repair itself. Strength comes from ultimate weakness. And, I noticed, it also applied in real life. Isn't that funny how it works out like that? Tell me what you think, my readers.
