Porcelain (Roses for a Heart)

Porcelain (Roses for a Heart)

A Poem by E.V. Black

Your words make her smile

sweetly and lovely.

Cheeks blush red;

a heart pounds between the two.

He smiles at her smile,

blue eyes a brightened sky.

Oh, she might know.

Oh, how she can tell

by the look on your face.

A hand placed on her porcelain

cheek is so tender an expression.

She glances down shyly

then back into his eyes.

A hand runs down porcelain

skin, so smooth and perfect.

Both blush in awkward silence,

glancing at each other but

not speaking.

He presents roses to his

porcelain sweetheart;

she smiles and takes them.

She kisses him deeply.

Roses for love.

Roses for a heart.

Yet another love poem. I thought this one was stupid when I wrote it, but it's actually very sweet. :)
