Seethe

Seethe

A Poem by E.V. Black

Seethe me,

you waste me

and my being.

You suffocate me

simply with your

presence.

I hate you,

can't you see?

Oh, it's so obvious.

You think you're so

big, calling others

"white trash."

Why, you're white trash

yourself, or don't

you know?

Seethe me,

suffocate me,

take away my

dreams.

Taunt me,

Flaunt on me

stupid, worthless lies.

Make me hope,

then shatter it

into thousands

of pierces.

I don't need

you, half the

time I don't

even want to

bother with you.

Ignore you,

I do.

You're useless.

All you do is

tell lies and

give me false hope.

Shut up, for once.

Nobody wants to listen.

Author's Note

E.V. Black
One day, I was riding some place with my sister in her car. At the time, I wasn't very fond of my sister. In fact, I hated her. She started talking about African Americans and was badmouthing them. I couldn't take it. I just couldn't. This is about that anger in which I felt in that situation.
