MaternalA Poem by E.V. BlackTo my mom.My admiration for you shines even through these hard times, and in these lines I’ll give you some rhymes. Though you may annoy me as you sing, then I know you’re happy when your voice rings. When you speak about something you believe in, you have courage enough to shout, not considering it a sin. The days when I’m at my worst and the tears freely flow, just as I’m about to burst you embrace me in all my woe. Even while you grieve in you I’ll believe. © 2011 E.V. BlackAuthor's Note
