Time and Time Again

Time and Time Again

A Poem by E.V. Black

O, the summer breeze blew lightly,

but the trees moved ever so slightly.

Collaborate will the flowers,

swaying for hours.

Days of despair,

calm is the night air.

Endless is the night,

silence just so right.

Day is gay

in so many ways.

Quiet is the glen

time and time again.

Now this was something fun I wrote very long ago. It was back when I was about nine or ten, just when I was beginning to write poetry. I had a different idea of poetry back then, much as I do now. Hope you, my readers, enjoy its cuteness! :D

cuteness was the correct word choice. I simply eat up cute things and I devoured this one. i read it way to fast the first time, just because of the rhyme scheme, and because I knew i was hooked, lol. was this how it was when you originally wrote it?
