The Deadly Caress

The Deadly Caress

A Poem by E.V. Black
"

'Your fate is mine.'

"

His honey-sweet voice

whispers in my

ear softly as

he tightens his

embrace around

me.

"There is more to

this world than you

may think, sweet."

His breath's aroma

is heavenly as I

take it in.

It intoxicates my

reason and makes

me drunk, longing

for more.

His lips press against

my neck. I sigh

in sweet agony;

his lips, ice cold,

are a relief against

my burning warm flesh.

Goosebumps arise on

my arms as love

conquers my heart.

I surrender to him,

unwilling to do battle.

I turn around,

eyes half-open,

and gaze at his

wonderfully perfect

marble pale face.

He caresses my

cheek lovingly

and I close my

eyes and enjoy

the sensation.

"I love you,”

I say softly.

He leans in

and kisses me

deeply on the lips.

His lips are so soft,

and he handles me

so delicately as if

I were a breakable

porcelain doll.

Pulling away,

he caresses my

cheek again and

leans in to

my neck.

"Your fate is

with me."

I think that, once again, I was thinking of a vampire when I was writing this. It could be. It's definitely not that far out there. I just wish I could remember. xD

Its amazing how sex can be the end all to a deal. This is amazingly written, I felt every motion described and I reacted in time with all your characters. This is amazing. Fantastic work, my dear.

sounds very vampish to me. i was , however struck by the tenderness and raw emotion of the piece. well written, nicely thought out and full of grace and fire.
very , very good write.
