Fervent Touch

Fervent Touch

A Poem by E.V. Black
"

You are my lifeline and my focus.

"

The rhythm of my breathing

can only be as fast as

my beating heart.

My pleasure divines

your pleasure.

And the heated signs

tell me your love.

Bodies intertwined,

skin against skin.

You are my lifeline

and my focus.

Gone, I would be dead.

Skin cold and empty body.

Those precious words unsaid,

I will have slipped away.

Hold me close, tight.

It might be too early,

but this feels just right.

It might be too late.

Fervent lips warm mine,

soft upon my own.

Your hand runs down my spine,

sending tingles sparking throughout me.

I could hold you forever

like this with your fervent

touch and fervent lips.

Author's Note

E.V. Black
There was a boy I once liked. Often I called upon the memories of how I felt about him and the desire to just be loved when I wrote love poetry. I still do, I just don't write much poetry nowadays. xD
I wish I knew what I was thinking when I wrote this. It must be plainly obvious to you, my dear readers.
