Memories of YouA Poem by E.V. BlackThese memories of you make me feel the sting of loneliness. That bright smile you used to wear drew me from my darkness. I still remember the day when you remembered me. How trite it must be that I even say these things. These memories of you make me feel the string of loneliness. Still, I savor the solitude being alone brings. Life can never be perfect. I don’t think it should.
No matter what I say, my feelings will say it all. As stupid as I might feel, I know what is true. © 2011 E.V. BlackAuthor's Note
