Like Bad Memories

It threatens to consume if I am not careful.

Thoughts that come in

the dead of night

linger like bad memories

that are unleashed.

They are all I think

about now,

at this time.

I am trying to conquer

this deeply engrained bitterness,

which threatens to consume

if I am not careful.

Once again, I can't remember what I did write this for. I think I may have been thinking of something quite important to me at the time that kept lingering insistently. Obviously. xD
