Amber Snow

Amber Snow

A Poem by E.V. Black
"

So pure, so gold.

"

The sun shines down

on frozen ground.

Amber snow…

So pure, so gold.

The snow shines

with such radiance.

It glints like a diamond

in the grand light.

Amber snow…

So pure, so gold.

Golden rays glimmer,

reflected in the ice

like a sparkling mirror.

Night.

The moon shows its face

and finds its place

in the mirror of ice.

Icicles glows with

an eerie aura.

Hanging from the trees,

they are night’s

true beauty.

The amber snow soaks

in the moonlight’s rays.

The snow glows like

the very sun itself.

Amber snow…

So pure, so gold.

I wrote this a long time ago for a fellow online writer friend who went by the username Amber Snow. We were quite close up until she left the previous writing site I was apart of.
