Lost Stars

Does it feel like enough?

I don’t know.

I thought it would.

Yet thinking about it

fills me with wist

and bitterness.

I thought I could,

but I guess I can’t.

 

What should I do?

How should I act?

It’s all blurred.

My questions always go

unanswered.

Lost stars in the dark

that can’t shine

or see their shadows.

How sad. How sad.

I guess I’m not.

I guess I can’t.
