Violet QuietA Poem by E.V. BlackMy soul rests in a nest of sweet twilight. My soul rests in a nest of sweet twilight. Peace flows from its center to the ends of my physical being. Endlessly, the colors float about me in whirling waves. Still, my soul remains its steadfast violet.
Nothing can penetrate it. Nothing can disturb it. It is apart of the upper ether, in another world all its own. It is so wonderful that I cry. The tears are violet and leave purple trails upon my cheeks. The violet quiet is my soul and is me. © 2013 E.V. BlackFeatured Review
