Riding Feelings

Riding Feelings

A Poem by E.V. Black
"

Riding feelings embrace my soul in their rugged arms.

"

Riding feelings

embrace my soul

in their rugged arms.

A beating heart races

in time with

the steady gallop.

I come closer

to something

but far away from

something else.

Where do I go?

I move with the wind,

feel the current

lifting my body

with it.

I do what feels right.

I was expecting something naughty lol, great imagery throughout and I loved the way the heart beat racing imitates the galloping hooves, very creative. Keep em coming Eve

this makes me feel like the poet is trying to decide whether to run or enjoy the feelings and just take life and love and enjoy the ride. Very good.
