the tsunamiA Poem by Wolfgang EvilsizerI have discovered that the life you are living is more a mental state than a physical state. A person can be imprisoned by their thoughts, fears and interpretations of others around them. You though a tsunami was coming You were prepared very well
Counting down the days and protected on all fronts
You needed support
None of your true friends or family would go there
As they would not believe the false sense of imprisonment created in your mind
So you manipulated people that you did not know
Many of which had true life-threatening problems
Only desiring the support they could give
You needed these as yes men to tell you
What you were doing was right when
Deep in your heart you knew it was wrong
You led them to believe that your condition was as bad as theirs
As they were struck by tsunamis of their own already
Serious heart breaking situations, to harsh to speak of by most
When your tsunami finally arrived what did you get instead?
Showers of love, hope and servitude
Recommitment, support and great sex
What will you say to these friends now?
Will they feel mislead and lied to?
How does your tsunami really compare to theirs?
