Life Of A Manic Depressive.

Life Of A Manic Depressive.

A Poem by Mairead

Life Of A Manic Depressive.

A moment of happiness,
Followed by despair,
Emotions running wild,
How can this be fair?

To go from laughing one minute,
To crying tears the next,
I dont know what to do,
I just feel perplexed,

Everytime I close my eyes,
I see memories of the past,
The way I used to be,
Flying by so fast,

I want to reach out,
And be that person again,
I want to leave this life,
I want to escape the pain,

I wish I could be normal,
Instead of being so obsessive,
But this is just the life,
Of the average Manic Depressive.
