Kill The Pain

Another poem about my struggle with depression

The adrenaline pumps through every vein,
As I try to kill the pain,
I wipe the tears from my face,
Doing my best to erase,
Every tear I ever cried,
And everytime I ever tried,
To tell them how I really feel,
How I tried to conceal,
The fact that I am unhappy,
The reason I have been so snappy,
How I cry every night,
How each day is a fight,
Pretending that I feel okay,
But I don't know how to say.
