Before you came into my life,

My heart was kind of hollow,

I tried endlessly to fill it,

To erase all my sorrow.

 

That never seemed to happen,

Until I met you,

You filled it up completely,

You stopped me feeling blue.

 

You can make me smile so easily,

Without any effort,

When it comes to making me happy,

In that field you are an expert.

 

I've never been one for declarations,

Especially about love,

But for you I'll make an exception,

As you're an angel sent from above.

 

I never knew what love was,

Until you came along,

You brought the light into my life,

It's with you I belong.

 

To you I am so thankful,

And I do decree,

From now until the end of time,
