The JY Parkway BeatA Poem by Ripped Denim 💜So I was annoyed in traffic one day, and then bored at work afterwards. So I wrote my very first rap. I also set it to harmonica later at home, in kind of a vintage blues style. Either work fine.you drive slow you do you drive slow it's true I seen you in a 50 doin' 22 you claim it’s for safety but I think that maybe you are in fact an old Jewish lady
to please your insurance you put on your little dance drivin' real slow and holdin' hands with the car next to you lettin' no one get through a stop-light on wheels you ain't gotta clue
you drive like a clown with your engine slowin' down stoppin' at speed bumps like your brain took a dump turnin' heads with your fails goin 6 miles down with a blinker on your tail
can't believe what I seen green means green yet you're stoppin' for the no-thing brakin' 10 miles from the car in front of you 'nother line off your bucket list of things to do
You say I'm impatient tryin' to pass I'm bobbing and weavin' to get around your fat a*s you say I'm careless rollin' the dice but gettin' where I wanna go is just my vice whereas a stop sign to you is like 20-years-to-life © 2014 Ripped Denim 💜 |
