I hate how sometimes

you look at me with disdain

 

I hate how with me

your smile is fake

 

I hate that you love me

but you don't like me

 

I hate how you gave me everything

and then stole it away

 

I hate that when you look at me

you make me hate myself

 

I hate that when I need you

you turn the other cheek

 

I hate that when I think about you

I know you're not thinking about me

 

I hate your selfishness

and that you don't care

 

I hate being somewhere

simply because you're there

 

But the thing I hate the most

is that however much I want to

I can't hate you

not now

not ever
