Another Round

So here’s to another round

Once again the cycle has started

I will meet you and fall in love

And you will leave me brokenhearted

You will tell me it wasn’t meant to be

And then you will walk out the door

I will stand there in shock

But then I will fall to the floor

I won’t leave my bed for days

And I will cry myself to sleep

I’ll do everything I said I wouldn’t

And for a while, that’s how I’ll keep

But for now, let’s be head over heels

And promise each other forever

We’ll say that we love each other

And the day that we part is never
