Day 19 and 20A Chapter by Evie Asha Kirana19th and 20th day of my 21 day challenge!!!
Day 19 (26th January):
Meditation: I meditated for about 10-15 minutes when I woke up, although this was at about 1 in the afternoon because I partied too hard on friday night! Exercise: I couldn't do any exercise because my leg hurts too much! I thought it would be best to have a rest day so that it will get better. Drawing: I did lots of zentangle drawing, which is really fun and not too difficult because all you have to do is think of pretty and interesting patterns! Work on my business: The zentangle was for my tumblr background for my business tumblr. I think I need to make it colourful before I scan it in and use it. Day 20 (27th January): Meditation: I meditated this morning at about 9 o'clock. I find it nicer to meditate in the morning even though it is harder to focus the mind. I like the challenge though and I find it more beneficial for my day. Drawing (painting counts right?): Today I had some uni work to do which I decided to make a mixed-media set of 4 images, I used paint and collage (but mainly paint). These were supposed to be reflecting the 4 temperaments which is an ancient Greek philosophy which was heavy related to medicine at the time. I decided to represent them by using their respective colours, and the planets and the seasons that link to each one. This was to represent the human life-cycle as well. Work on my business: Today I bought my first lot of stock! I bought the UV paints in 10 colours which will be for my limited edition rave t-shirts. And I thought it would be a good idea to start off with 10 t-shirts and see how it goes. I got 5 black and 5 white. I can't wait to get started! Exercise: I went for a half hour run, which was about 3 or 4 miles. I was taking it easy because my leg still hurt a little bit, but I managed to keep on going without too much trouble. But I was running about half as fast as I usually would. Do things for others: I did a lot of cleaning and tidying in the kitchen for my Mum; emptying and stacking the dishwasher, washing up and putting away the clean stuff, and I emptied the bin. This was mainly because she always says she hates to get back from work and find loads of chores for her to do, so hopefully this helped her! Wowww! One day left!!! I feel like this 3 weeks has gone really quickly but this was probably because I did small amounts of my activities every day, and this was integrated into my daily schedule. I think that this 21 day challenge has really helped me because I just took one day at a time rather than feel overwhelmed by it all which I think is the key to anything really! I have learned a lot and I really would recommend to anyone to try it themselves if there are particular aspects of their life that they want to improve on!
