Sleepless Hours

Sleepless Hours

A Poem by Evey Lovegood

Silly, lovesick, tumbling over words and giggles with just enough time to catch our breath.
Our love is morphed into a sort of lust and I lose track of what we are becoming. I try for you. Going along with it is harder than i expected. This is not you, this is not us.
Not wanting to be something my mind rejects, I start to pull myself away and you react like a rubber band.
Reasoning with each other, we try to make the storm going on in our heads into the words we can't seem to get out. I'm sorry I couldn't have done better.
Finally, after what has brought both of us near tears and sleepless hours we draw our conclusion, ending better than we started. Stronger, healthier, more exposed. Trust has grown.
We end with a promise. Forever.
