Damaged Goods

Damaged Goods

A Poem by EveryDirection
"

A song i wrote about a girl, how i wish i hadn't stuck around but how I'm glad the experience made me who i am.

"

I could lead my life

Always passing by

The train that you ride

To bide my time

I could free my mind

Forget the times

And all the binds

But perhaps we should keep in mind

I’m just damaged goods

No longer prime

Sticking around

was the only crime

and if I got another chance

to escape that trance

I’d come back every time

I will find a way

To lead myself astray

For every choice, a cost

In order to be found

You have to be lost.

I will derail this train

Escape from the pain

Walk away intact

Skull with a crack

and the past to my back

About
I'm 19 years old, I used to write creatively all the time as a young boy but have gotten away from it during my teen years. Recently I have picked back up on it. I love writing stories, poems, and son.. more..
