Coffee shop on milwayA Story by Sunshine and rainHere is a incomplete short story I wrote a few years back. Please excuse grammar or spelling mistakes, because I'd like to keep it that way to see how far I've come.
Tiffany Mctlrart bounded up the stairs of her coffee shop on a fine Monday morning. Her eyes darted all around the street as she fished her her keys to unlock the door. Finding them tiffany unlocked the door and buffled inside, then gasped .customers were everywhere ordering lattes and chatting on the fine leather seats. what in the world? the shocked owner thought. Using her keen eyes she hunted down her number one employee(possibly her only employee): Jackie
Running over to her friend tiffany exploded “Jackie, what in the world going on here?!” Without waiting for a response she continued “you weren’t supposed to use the key unless I were in first and who are these people they look like college kids?” Gasping for breath tiffany waited for the employee the respond Jackie shifted from foot to foot before answering “well to make a long story short miss. Matlart I invited all of them for a party and I thought it would make me cooler you know” Tiffany raised a eyebrow. She could understand the desire of popularity because she went through the same thing growing up but this was just to much. maybe hiring a college student with no responsibly was a bad idea after all she thinks and then tiffany did something she never expected she had in her. She unfolded her arms and said sighing “ Jackie I want you to escort these students out of here and afterwards you are on probation so don’t bother coming back inside” and with a last look of disappointment tiffany went to her office. Slamming the door behind her, tiffany collapsed into her office chair and let out an exuxted sigh © 2013 Sunshine and rain |
