The Rainbow

The Rainbow is a happy feeling

Or another thought

Or maybe a story that there is to tell

But there is something about the rainbow

That makes a cheer in a child’s heart

That gives me a smile

Something that says happiness

Something that says thoughts are another thing

Like the story of them all

About the rainbow smiling

That the child smiles at

And it makes my heart cheer
