And He Hears You

And He Hears You

A Poem by Bella

The marks on her skin are artifacts
The bloody knife lay hidden under her mattress
Could she really be loved?

She breathes in toxin
And on her lips are disguised words
She has a burden of a single tear

The air around her is cool,
Like fresh water racing to the ocean
Like a wicked with waiting

But that shouldnt stop her
God is watching over her
God is breathing love into her mind

Shes a fighter
Shes a warriort
Shes a girl
Who has no experience with love

Except for what God has given her
Except for the blessings that fall
Around her like droplets of rain
Or tears that fall off her cheek

Because God is watching over her
God hears her
He knows

He knows her every thoughts
Hes counted her every tear that has fallen

And he hears you.

"teat" or tear?

This one tastes of pain and a self-recognition of that is all there is or will be.
