That One Group

That One Group

That One Group        By: Emma Anderson 6/20/2011

Even in the farthest reaches of rural expanses there are schools and in those schools there are, inevitably, social groups. Formed by chance or interest these groups will eventually gain reputations. We are all a part of one: the jocks, the preps, the intelligent people who, mind you, embrace their intelligence. But in every school there is one group that is created from people that may not fit in with everyone else and might be completely diverse, but the pure beauty in that is pure acceptance. They don’t hide from their true thoughts or actions nor do they attempt to be anyone else than themselves. It is truly amazing when you see such open-mindedness in people. And if you are fortunate enough to glimpse upon or even notice this tremendous phenomenon in today’s stereotypical, status driven world it is truly astounding and breathtaking in every aspect. I wish we all could be more like them.
