A Poem by EverEmma

Your green eyes,
Fill my heart with joy,
Your lively smile,
Brings a laugh from my lips

With your easy humor
And loving gestures
Music shall come
From your family

As our strings ring,
the power of the notes come through
We are walking in the Fields of Gold
And marching through St. Charles Avenue

The simple sound of your voice,
Quiets the room
As you reach for your wand,
Our breath catches in our chests

Vibrato sweetly echoes,
In a silky melody
Our magic
Is the best kind of all

True and pure,
We are far from perfect,
Yet your baton still waves
With an occasional grin

You took us far,
To the beautiful streets of Savannah,
And the stage
Where we reached excellence

We miss you
Thank you for everything you have given us.

I pray for her health too. Its so sad when a friend or family member falls ill. And its even worse when we're forced to sit on the sidelines and are unable to do anything.

Wonderful. Keep writing.

To the beautiful streets of Savannah============ah.... not everyone would get this.. but that one line evoked all sorts of beautiful images in my mind. Savannah is sooo beautiful. All that aside, music calms the savage beast and this poem is music too.

It is always a joy to read poems and stories for others. I hope things work out for the best. It is always hard to hear news such as that. It was a great poem and I am sure it would bring her to tears to read, to show how much you care. Words like these in my view are one of the best gifts you can give next to life.

I hope she is feeling better. I put her in my prayers. A beautiful and positive poem for a good person. I like the description and story in the words. I hope for a good ending.
