That EveningA Poem by EverEmmaThat summer
evening, I danced in the rain Simply
happy, no fear of death or pain Arms spread
out as wide as the azure sky Hair swirling
like a hand waving goodbye Without
doubt that tomorrow’s sun will come Raindrops as
exquisite as sparkling jewels Fell upon
the ground filling small whirlpools The stars
were revealed as the clouds opened That evening
was pure, magical, destined © 2010 EverEmmaReviews
