Jealous TearsA Poem by EverEmma
Hatred fills your veins
You scoff while in their presence As you watch the silent laughter Tears stream down your imperfect cheeks The vine of envy grows It is wrapped around your neck, strangling you All alone your room Nobody understands You fight off wretched thoughts of how life could be Wishing to sit with them Laugh and smile with them Be with them Confined to your plastic chair Words run through your head Thin, beautiful, popular Girls are the cruelest of beings Self confidence is non-existent It's simply nature © 2010 EverEmmaAuthor's Note
