Sleeping

Sleeping

A Poem by Evelyn

We moulded together perfectly
With our bodies closed in there were no spaces in between
I inhaled every bit of your skin as
You whispered words that made my heart sing
And I loved you in return but
You had used my body as warmth to the cool lying stone of your heart
All revealed in the time where I had mistaken your love was mine
After the betrayal I'd spend some time
Using all strength to avoid decline
For gone are the days where you had placed
The hold that kept my true heart to you and I do not wish to return the words expressed that flowed naturally once I had confessed
I was in love
I had walked through the ultimate pain and continue in search for truth in love in hopes it will not be in vain.

This was great. Truth. Resonating with many.

Thank you Ty, no doubt it does.
Oh when sheep become wolves and their true hearts come shining through

Indeed, the initial connection usually silences intuition.
I hope you found the love you deserve
I love the use of cold heart against the warm body
