THE BLAZE.

THE BLAZE.

A Poem by Evee
"

No love for too long, Is love long gone.

"
Desolate land, The fifth meteor strike, another
Catastrophic goodbye,
With your morals as old as the planet, unbreakable like any other tough guy.
Foreseen consequences, wiped out with a terrible choice,
It was covered with dust, the other side of the coin.
With Ivy wrapped all around me, I'm still spellbound,
The queen of Justice was too cryptic to be crowned.

Flooded, the dream house of a Vagabond,
What a blunder, crossed the thin line between a need and a want.
Chronic wound, each time, only a stranger cures,
Should I fill the gaps between the whys and wherefores?
No piece of paper has ever had a perfect heart drawn,
No love for too long, Is love long gone.

My heart would still be alive if your touch was washed away by the rain,
Reached the age where only crossword connects our name.
I would still be able to hold your hand if the ring was robbed by a bandit,
At home, d o you try to forget me like an old habit?
My Eyes would stop crying if they could soak the brown in yours,
Is pain considered real only when someone endures?

Every pigeon I ever released, bit the dust,
Paralyzed, I stood on the ruins, grieving what everyone loved.
Solemn prayers to the sky throughout these years,
Now I only face the stars to hold back tears.
Let your strings lead my heart until it turned sore,
Still tied to you, I  lock myself out of his door.

We always mourned the loss of home, reaching the end of the road,
How were we on the same boat when only you had the life support?
Our reflection stings after turning back to sand,
There's a mound of flowers covered with blood in our fairyland.
You would never see me burning in the blaze,
Because, the one who sets the fire,
never stays.
