His Lifeless BelovedA Poem by Grey Evanescentlove is about appreciation not possession. He was walking
by a garden of beautiful and colorful flowers in full bloom. He saw her, dancing innocently with the cool morning breeze. He was enticed, with her captivating eyes flush cheek and tempting full lips. He reached out to her with his intoxicatingly handsome face and warm hands. Their eyes met and they fell to a black hole of confusion. But he made the wrong decision. ... He plucked her out from the soil... and she lay on his palms... ... unmoving ... unblinking ... pale ... and ... lifeless. And he cried, but no tears was as sweet as her petrichor scent. © 2017 Grey EvanescentAuthor's Note
