A Glimpse of the FutureA Poem by Grey EvanescentI walked on the street, with my bare, tired feet. All I can smell are polluted, stinky wells. All I can hear, are long forgotten fears.
How long has it been, since I saw lively colors, red, pink, yellow, green? I miss the trees and flowers.
I used to run around fields, fields filled with life. I used to think our world was healed, But we were all destined with strife.
But remember, destiny doesn't pick you, you pick it.
Our world is still alive, barely breathing. Death has not arrived, … let's make the right choice.
