Fate by chance

A song I wrote

I sighed,

as I took another step
on this crumbled road
that I've been walking on
for years,
as I tried to find him.
But all I see are
dead plants and withered roses.

But all torments died
when I met you.
I never thought
that those
trees, plants, roses
and even myself
would ever feel life again.

You are my soul
my life, my everything.
Though I barely know you,
though all you did was point the right direction,
and erase my memory of him,
I knew when I looked into those pitch black eyes,
that there was no turning back,
that I was already trapped within your gaze.

And I knew,
fate would let us meet again.
