Translucent

Translucent

A Poem by Evan Kleve

A ghostly tear
slipped
down her translucent cheek
as she stared at the floating boy
in front of her

"Why?"
She asked
Shaking her head.

He just smiled
and drew her into a hug
Which both could feel but not
And he whispered in her ear

"You didn't get
What I meant
when I said
I would follow you anywhere."

This is a sweet poem. Almost as adorable. Anyways, it was a great write. The description and words made it bit like a story, in a poetic way. But, it was nice to read. Great job, keep it up :)
