Dirt and Grime

There are different kinds
of dirt and grime
and different ways to see them.

Through mind and heart
or even art
But there's one thing that can help

Falling water pounding down
From plumbing or the sky
Wash away that dirt and grime
You and calm have common time

This was a nice poem :) I did enjoy it :) It was a bit confusing, but still a good poem, none the less. I really love the last stanza. Rain is always a beautiful metaphor because rain is an amazingly beautiful subject. Great job!

Wow, I love this. [I am saying this with more astonishment than excitment, which is why I put a period rather than a exclamation mark].This poem really spoke to me because, I thought of"dirt and grime" as a metaphor used to describe people that are being judged harshly by others. Even if that is not how you wanted it to be interpreted. I honestly loved the whole poem, I can't pick out a favorite line because I love the whole thing equally. This may have been a poem that just popped into your head and even though you say its not your best, it still impressed me a great deal. Thank you
