You're an Angel

Wrote this for an ex girlfriend a while back :P

Don't you see how beautiful you are?
You say "you wish" but you don't realize you're the star
You spend so much time thinking you're not special
But in reality you're well above par

If only you could see what i see, you'd love yourself the way i love you
You are my everything
But it hurts me to see you not know your true value

Why are you so hurt?
A soul as beautiful as yours shouldn't have to suffer
You're an angel, so spread your wings and get off the dirt

Because you're meant to soar
Fly out of this earth and stop by Heaven
Then tell me why that can't be yours

You're gods creation
He's made you a mansion with golden doors
Not a shack with wooden floors
So next time you look in the mirror, see yourself as an angel of the lord
