Healing on the inside

Healing on the inside

A Poem by Machiavelli

I'm starting to heal from your attacks against me
Despite that hate between us
I will still love you even though the pain insides unbearable
I will never leave myself this vulnerable to your attacks
I will always keep my guard up around you
Within your hate I am scared for my life
We always will keep in touch
But we will never be so close to each other

You are a cruel unrelenting person
Who attacks against self-esteem
Who likes to unleash your anger on others below you
On those who have less power
But no longer will you insult me
No longer will you throw hurtful words at me no more
You shall no longer interfere destroying my life with your hatred
You care for no one

You love yourself
You are a cold hearted scoundrel
You will never find a love like the one I had for you
You will be lonely for your life longing for my love to return
You will ask and I will not answer
You will never feel my warm love again
You will never have the comfort of my warm voice again

sounds like a bad break up...but it expresses emotions and thats great...but instead of just righting down words to make it seem like you hate this person, give the poem a rhythm and i twist to capture the readers attention. but this is good ! keep it up :D
