I wrote this for a crush a number of years ago

I'll write you letters of my intention,

till stone learns to hear me.

Nothing draws me near like your taste

for your love is more delightful than wine.

I'll speak truth as in water

to you again if you'll only hear it

and we won't ever have to close our eyes again.
