Stardust Into SupernovaA Poem by VertoAtrum
The universe smiled and shed a tear, a star fell from the sky,
It gathered substance, fell to earth, inside the shell, a firefly, Shining brightly in the night, black with the ink of gods and sprites, The star burst open within a cage, once released it shone with light, Years ahead it grew a head, full of thoughts that laughed and sighed, So sprouted smiles that shook the heavens and fiery eyes that learned to cry, Then came the hands that held the sky, a heart that roared out loud and clear, Lips that curved like ocean waveamongstresolve to face the greateat fears, The firefly inside the star still flickered when it felt the need, To hold out hope for saddened souls, to help them get back on their feet, A seed like no other had blossomed to a flower, saint by day and sin by night, A pinprick in the crowds to some became the color amongst the white, What started from a spec now flourishes, into a beautiful soul it grew, The universe knew its masterpiece was ready, and from the vault of dreams came you © 2018 VertoAtrumFeatured Review
