Haiku-UnchangedA Poem by VertoAtrumI inhale your breath Familiar, sour, strong Your tongue around mine
I melt against you The smell I fell asleep to Invading my lungs
Your stare still stops me Freezes me in place like ice Goosebumps on my skin
Nothing has changed us You're still the thorn in my side A much welcomed pain
Silence speaks volumes As we run out of pages A new chapter starts
So hold me closer I hope you never let go Yes, I still love you
No one can be you You have always had my heart And you always will © 2015 VertoAtrum |
