Unforseen

Unforseen

A Poem by VertoAtrum

Inside the walls of the enemy,
A burning exterior pressed close,
Anger raging breathlessly,
Yet unavoidable repose

A stunning, shameful view,
Coaxed gently into action,
Previously hell ensued,
Now, hindered all reaction

Still, the path was chosen,
To form this obscure clutch,
I found myself so frozen,
Yet warmed by familiar touch
