A Shame It Is, This,

Trembling Lips Refuse To Kiss,

A Poisonous Tongue

Author's Note

VertoAtrum
This has a bit more meaning behind it than it seems.
The first line is setting the mood in a way; showing how regretful whatever it was turned out to be.
The second like could mean being fearful of the dominant evil being/person, or the more deep, intense meaning of feeling so dead to the world in shock that you can't move and therefore can't conform to normal gestures (puckering lips for kissing purposes, etc).
The third is simply stating how the sinister person mentioned makes the other feel infected, poisoned.
