Giving In

A pain inside me,

A burning sensation, spreads,

Like fire on trees

My body, it aches,

And now I tremble and quake,

I double over

I'm tired, I'm through,

There's nothing more I can do,

Breaking, I crumble

This poem puts into words the feeling of overwhelming anxiety I have at times, like when bills are due or past due for that matter. This is exactly the sensation I have when stressed. Great perception and interpretation of emotion.
