Take A Walk

Just need to get away sometimes.

I've got to take a walk,

Go clear my head,

And maybe I'll see the world different instead

My mind needs easing,

I want reassurance,

To show me that all my effort isn't pointless

I sometimes feel like falling,

Some days are worse,

I'm a broken song with one less verse

I'll call upon my warrior,

My inner power is failing,

But maybe that's just the flaw to living

For some reason, I thought of X-Men when I read the last stanza. I just saw the new one with my dad yesterday. Anyway, like you said, we all need to take a walk sometimes, to help clear our minds. It's not good to be all bottled up and stuck in one place for too long, bad things are bound to happen in situations like those. I try to get out of my house at least twice a day for a few minutes each, to smell the air, feel the weather around me. Something to prove to me that I'm still here for a reason. And I love the third stanza about being 'being a long song with one less verse'. Simply beautiful :)
