Dark Inside

Dark Inside

A Poem by Ethel Ross

Dark Inside by Ethel Ross

Among the shadows of discord the young ones whisper,
The trees of life dripping with blood-stained dew
Oh, that one ghostly gasping quiver
While I sit all along singing the blues

The oceans from your past escape the river,
Entering the deep unseen dungeon
endlessly waiting for clues......
