The Sun's DefenseA Poem by EthelIt focuses on the sun and how much it seems to explain itself to the citizens of the earth, who frowns at it's scorching rays.
THE SUN'S DEFENSE
Ain't nothin fun in walkin the aisle Yeah in court, flung left and right By your foe and supports alike. Hear, I'm for real not brazen but, On cue, must halt the lover's course. You greet my smile with frown and grin Forgetting I help grow your greens. Oh! How you abhor my sight And shield my rays on sight Do not misjudge this scorching bright With it's light you build your fort. Please, grasp 'tis my design And in this, is my fun © 2020 EthelAuthor's Note
