Eagle poemA Poem by Robert delfuego or EthanEvery year for the graduating class of 8th graders theres a class poem here is the one I will turn in hoping to have be he class poem.
Soaring through the sky
High as any eagles ever flyed I'm ready to succeed The bird caged already freed To start my life Free of strife A rebirth New mountain range A new land very strange We are all practically flying head first into To pursue the future One we hope to be happy Maybe sappy and romantic But I beg we never grow sick Of life and love and try to shove those things away That is the day The day we clip our wings And bring ourselves to the end And tend to stop living live as an adventure And we stop being an explorer And give into the horror of daily life Stop living on the edge When we step back from the ledge And think that it's not possible for us to fly Fly throughs the sky Endless Limitless Regret less Regret less the way I want to be in my live And never let the drive of my dreams go So il live my life to the fullest Never to the dullest And fulfill my dreams No matter how many voices scream Yell and tell me to stop I never will Because they will never kill This spirit © 2012 Robert delfuego or EthanAuthor's Note
