The Quickness

The Quickness

A Poem by Nubz
"

It happened so fast.

"

The more I disregard,
The more I learn to love.
We all have our setbacks,
And deflagrate our hopes,
I've skied generous mountain tops,
The fresh powder of it's slopes.
Here's reason number one,
A right fist so clenched,
Witness this destructive phase,
Of poetic rage,
The feeling so solemnly spent.
This world should cower in fear,
Though I adore her words once spoken,
She's a ticking time bomb,
And her seconds seem like years.
If it were any more apparent,
That an honest touch was needed,
May you execute my mind,
And have my dire notes deleted.
I would send a rescue team,
To save you from sleepless hours,
And I try the best I can,
To keep these neutral powers.

Love it, My favorite line was:
"To save you from sleepless hours,
And I try the best I can,
To keep these neutral powers."
Beautiful, just beautiful.
